Online Children's Architecture Course
Learn architectural design and history at home
The content of this online course is the same as the face-to-face class we held earlier. It teaches architectural knowledge and leads children to produce architectural drawings and models steps by steps. However, the price of the course is much lower than that of face-to-face classes! Parents can have fun with children at home. Click here to register for them now!
We Can Build was established in Hong Kong in 2016. We are a team of registered architects and architectural designers graduated from famous architectural schools. We mainly provide architectural experience courses for children from kindergarten to sixth grade.
We believe that the best way for children to learn architectural design is to increase their knowledge and vision through games. The courses of We Can Build are simple and interesting. They reference the orthodox training of architects, and include architectural models, drawings, ancient and modern architectural history, and study of master architects' works.
Our goal is to inspire children to think and encourage them to appreciate architecture from different angles and media. With the teaching of Eastern and Western history and culture specially designed for children, their temperament and knowledge will be cultivated from an early age.

Our courses are not in sequence. Parents can choose freely according to their interests.
Precautions:
1. Our aim is to allow children to have a preliminary architectural experience, and to understand the history and culture behind it, by learning through the drawings and models of imitated buildings. It does not cover all the training content of professional architects, nor is it suitable for perfectionist parents. Also, it is not a professional training course.
2. The teaching materials will be adjusted according to the level of children's level (such as attention, safety issues, etc.) and the limitations that come with learning from home. We do not require parents to purchase too many tools for children (such as T-ruler, triangle ruler, and professional pen drawing). On the contrary, in order to reduce the complexity, we advocate to keep using these tools at minimum level, that is to use freehand drawing and simplify the production, in order to enhance the fun of learning architecture from the game.
A.1. Our recommended study age is 6 to 12 years old. From the past experience of face-to-face classes, there was once 6-year-old, 8-year-old and 12-year-old children attending at the same time, and the results were very satisfactory. A 6-year-old child could understand that the thickness of the structural beam under the floor changes according to the different load of the room function; the 12-year-old child also found the content of the course fresh and had never learned it elsewhere. Therefore, age is not a big issue. Do not underestimate their ability to learn. Instead, plant the appropriate seeds on them as soon as possible. Naturally, there will be results.
A2. As part of the course involves the use of sharp tools, hot melt glue guns and other tools, parents need to accompany and assist in making models.
A3. Parents need to prepare and purchase materials and tools by themselves. The drawing and model materials we choose are relatively easy to buy and the price is not too high. They can be purchased at general stationery stores or online.
A4. Parents can log in to the credit card payment option in our course page. We currently only accept online credit card payment (via the Stripe system). If you have any questions, please contact our Facebook page or email.
A5. We will notify via email.
